As far as I know there were only two CVC machines made by Technicolor, the 212E we've already seen, and this combined VCR and TV which they subtitled the "Video Showcase". That suggests that the main use they saw for it was as a portable presentation machine for travelling businessmen.
It's actually quite a big machine; the TV screen is 8 inch. The other TV/VCR combos that we have in the museum are mostly 4 or 5 inch.

The size and weight rather defeats the point of having a miniature tape format, but if you're using it for presentations, the screen needs to be large enough for several people to see at once.

The VCR mechanism is straight out of a 212E, simply combined with a TV in a single case, so all the VCR controls are as described for that machine. As for the other combis in this room there's no TV tuner built in, but again the separate TTU can be connected if needed.
