It's actually quite a big machine; the TV screen is 8 inch. The other TV/VCR combos that we have in the museum are
mostly 4 or 5 inch.
The size and weight rather defeats the point of having a miniature tape format, but if you're using it for
presentations, the screen needs to be large enough for several people to see at once.
The VCR mechanism is straight out of a 212E, simply combined with a TV in a single case, so all the VCR
controls are as described for that machine. As for the other combis in this room there's no TV tuner built in, but
again the separate TTU can be connected if needed. |
